 “We engaged Anderson & Roers to work with us on a project relative to the West Virginia Broad Based Provider Tax. This is an extremely complex project that involved dissecting hospital revenues into many categories and reinterpreting the tax laws that pertained to each component. The project is ongoing and has significant additional potential, but Anderson & Roers have already enabled us to prevail with the state on a significant portion of the total project potential. This portion has been settled and we have received a sizeable refund from the state. In addition, Anderson & Roers have provided my staff with a template by which we can replicate these tax savings going forward, and they have educated our staff on the proper use of this template.
